At the Project

Jill Miller

AS a result of my own breast cancer experience in 1993, which resulted in mastectomy, I founded PAC Project - Positive Action on Cancer. I work for PAC as a voluntary Project Director. I am a published novelist who has worked in prisons as 'Writer in Residence' from 1992-2000. In 1998 I co-founded 'Little Gift' Theatre Company whose devised play 'Time Bomb' is a groundbreaking performance about the realities of living with breast cancer.

Tricia Greenwood

I have worked as the counsellor/development officer for Positive Action on Cancer since 1998, and have been counselling professionally for the past five years in a variety of settings, including Bath Cruse Bereavement Service, and as a student counsellor in a college of further education. My background is in teaching and group work, spanning a period of more than twenty years.

The Trustees

Dr Richard Jelly

Richard Jelly is a local G.P. who has specialised in paediatrics.

Richard is married with three daughters and a son and has lived in Frome for 32 years. Although Richard has recently retired, he will continue to work part-time as an associate for the same local practice.

Mrs Anita Collier

At the age of 47, Anita was diagnosed with breast cancer, and after two operations went on to have a full mastectomy and a breast reconstruction.

She has previously been a successful caterer, registered childminder and City of Bath Tour Guide, and her varied career has covered banking, advertising, European travel, event management and currently, telecommunications.

Anita describes PAC as 'a classic example of what can be achieved if your heart is really in a project'.

Robina Tudgay

Robina was born in Manchester and has lived in Frome since 1970. She works full time as an accounts administrator for a local company, which installs security systems.

She has recently taken up the voluntary post of Trustee/treasurer with Positive Action on Cancer and is pleased to be supporting this worthy charity.

Alison Moir

Volunteer Alison Moir has been invited to be another trustee of the charity. She has gladly taken up the offer and will be appointed at the next A.G.M.
